Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join the team for our Piccadilly branch. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding and passion for specialty coffee, combined with a want to work within a growing speciality coffee shop. The Barista plays a critical role in not only maintaining our high standards but also in providing our customers with a memorable experience.
Responsibilities: - Specialty standard Barista. - Opening and closing the store, setting up for each day to ensure that the shift runs smoothly. - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Represent Compane at industry events and engage with the wider coffee community. - Understanding and adhering to the broader concepts of Compane, as set by the founders.
*Note. This will be predominantly based in our Piccadilly shop with occasional shifts in our Camden Passage shop.
Requirements: - Proven experience as a barista with a focus on specialty coffee. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - A passion for coffee and a drive to grow and expand a young brand. - Ability to work within a diverse team. - Legal right to work in the UK.
