Barista/FOH

Batch Baby is an independent speciality coffee shop that opened at the end of 2021. We were runner-up for Best New Cafe globally in the 2022 Sprudgie awards, are two time innovation award winners and are listed on various best in London lists including Eater, Time out and Conde Nast Traveler. We have recently expanded our cafe area and are looking to add to our passionate team of baristas.

As owners, we have been managers and baristas in some of the top establishments in the industry, and have over 18 years experience between us - working on the floor, in all positions, from the ground up. Because of this, our priority is providing a positive and supportive work environment, where everyone is included, and everybody contributes.

For this role, some speciality coffee experience is absolutely preferred, but we will consider all applications and levels of experience. This position has some flexibility of hours, and we will build the role around the strengths, interests and availability of the right candidate. We are looking for someone who wants to learn or take the next step within speciality coffee, is motivated, hard-working and social. Most important is that they work well within a team and value and contribute to the warm atmosphere of the cafe.

The right candidate will be someone -

• With a keen interest in speciality coffee, food and community
• Is hard-working, and happy to get stuck-in, whether they’re on the till, pulling shots, or taking the bins out.
• Is looking for a long-term role within the business and industry
